Job Description

WANTED 3D lead Artist



Requirements:
-3-5 years of industry experience as a 3D artist.
-Experience leading a team.
-Must have a sound understanding of a 3d package, Max, Maya etc...
-Must have a working knowledge of AS.
-Must understand texturing and UV mapping. Great texturing skills.
-Understanding of animation within your software package.
-Must know Zbrush or Mudbox.
-Know or be willing to learn quickly, Vue 8.
-Very good written and verbal communication skills.
-Must have a passion for games and interactive entertainment.
-Ability to rapidly learn and impliment new software and new technologies
-Be meticulous and organized in the approach to the tasks, files and storage of the material.
-The ability to communicate on a wide range of issues and work well in an online team environment spanning artists, designers and programmers.
-The ability to teach and learn new techniques and processes.
-Be enthusiastic and expect to take on challenges.
-Document procedures and pipelines as required.
-Must be able to meet schedules and artistic guidelines on time in a professional manner.
-Must have good work ethic and require little supervision.
-Good critique skills.
-Must be able to follow direction and to direct others.

Helpful but not required:
-Knowledge of Flash 10.

Responsibilities:
-To work with the art team and create high quality 3d models based on the work of the concept artists. Your imput will be welcome.
-In charge of finding and working with other 3D artists.
-Work with the other leads to discover how assets could be optimized.
-Provide necessary and timely feedback and guidance on deliverables across multiple projects
-Communicate deadlines and difficulties to your and art director and designer.
-Help to maintain the vision of the project.
