POSITION SUMMARY: The MLB Network seeks an advanced artist specializing in 3D (generalist), compositing, and design

RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific responsibilities include:
• Create graphics and animations for show packages, studio set content, sales clients, and promos
• Work independently or with a team as needed to complete projects
• Stay current with industry trends in style, process, and technical execution

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate must have most if not all of the following skills and experiences:
• A minimum of 10 years production experience is required. Experience in the television, advertising, or film industries are preferred.
• Candidate should possess a strong art sense and an attention to detail
• The ability to execute a concept from start to finish.
• Have excellent time management skills
• Demonstrate initiative and be able to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner
• Recommend and implement process improvements
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be an expert with Maya or 3DS Max
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Aftereffects is required
• Proficiency with Nuke or Final Cut Pro is a plus

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is required; Computer Arts or Graphics major highly preferred.
