What is the "Existing Employer FAQ"?
What are the services provided to employers?
There are two services provided to employers. First, they can post their job
offer on the site and have it e-mailed to the Job Offers Mailing List members.
The other service we offer is the resumes database. Employers can browse and search
the database to find tomorrow's talents.

How is the 3D Artists | raph.com Job Center
different from other job sites?
Unlike traditional job sites, the Job Center is built with the computer graphics
industry in mind. First, we only accept job seekers looking for a job in the computer
graphics field. Also, to help employers easily find artists, resumes are enhanced
with cg-specific details (e.g. cg skills, cg software, ...) and employers can
browse artists's portfolios online!

How big is the 3D Artists | raph.com Job Center
(Job Offers Mailing List, resumes database, ...)?
Quite big actually! There are 9000+ subscribers to the Job Offers Mailing List.
As for the resumes database, there are 1500+ resumes and 1900+ portfolio images.
This number is always increasing, new resumes being added daily.

Why register?
Registration is the first step you need to accomplish in order to be able to gain
access to all the parts of the Job Center built specifically for employers. Indeed,
we want to ensure that only computer graphics firms (cg studios, video game developpers,
fx houses, ...) have access to this area and prevent any abuse of the system.
For instance, this allows us to prevent spammers from gathering artists e-mail
addresses and spam their mailbox.

How do I post a job offer?
To post a job, simply go to the "Post a job offer"
page, fill in the form and click on submit. We will then review your job offer
(this is necessary to prevent any abuse of the system or just ensure only cg related
jobs are posted in the Job Center). After that, we will link the job offer to
your account. That is, on your account page, you will be able to view and edit
your job offer whenever you want and set the options for it (e.g. how you want
it to be displayed, ...).

How can I use the database to find the artist
I'm looking for?
You can either browse or search
the database. Browsing it gives you a flat listing of all the resumes. You might
prefer to search the resumes instead. You can perform an advanced search using
different criteria: work preferences (position, type of work, salary) , cg skills,
cg software, ... and choose which details to be displayed on the results page.

about the Job Center services: how to edit your job offers, set options for them,
manage your account, ... You will need to register (free)
to be able to access it.
