realistic car paint

Hello, i am interested in learning how to create shiny, laquer paint. My previous attempts of having  a material with high gloss can use some improving. Any advice or tutorials would be helpful.

let's see, shiny = specularity. you have to search
for a material that shines, reflects and it does not
have that plastic look. what software do you use ?

I use 3D Studio Max 5. i want to achieve the look of shiny laquer paint with depth.
