The Geospatial Specialist performs a variety of functions, including reviewing and modifying vector and raster data, digitizing from imagery, spatial analysis, and digital map production. In addition, this position requires the ability to learn and integrate new, often unique in-house simulation software into the geographic workflow. The Geospatial Specialist is also involved in scheduling and quality assurance processes by serving as a liaison between our client and contracted map production firms.

•Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required
• Significant experience using ArcGIS version 9.1 or newer


• Experience with image analysis software, such as ERDAS IMAGINE, ER Mapper, or other imagery processing tools
• Expertise in map projections and coordinate systems
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Programming experience, particularly using Python
• Expertise in working with visual database development tools such as Terrex, Multigen Creator, Maya, Photoshop, or 3D Studio Max
