create an image adobe or corel or whatever paint the path you want. out it in the mask slot that is within your composite, put one material in the image slot within the mask map, and the other make a bitmap within composite and put your other material bitmap in thier.

Try making your road from rectangular faces (like an array of rectangles) and map them with UVW map set to FACE MAP.As map,use a tilable road map (eventually make 2-3 maps of that kind, so it won't be too monotonous) and VOILA! you got a very nice road whose maps bends excellent at any curves you got...
if i haven't expressed myself too good, reply me and i will show you an example. byebye and hope you got that road to look good. cya Re: Bending Difuse maps

Steve,
If you make your road using a loft the mapping cooridinates will be generated for you. Super simple way to do it. Matt Whoops, didnt notice the date on the 1st post, oh well... Last modification: Matthew - 05/04/01 at 07:00:55
