Reflections in Max
By JasonHendry on Dec 21, 2000 05:13 AM
I am trying to get the reflections right. I wish to know how I would make the floor more reflective at the edges than in the middle.
Just look at the floor. In the first the reflection is even. In the second the reflection is in the middle when I tryed to get it on the edge. Why? ![]() ![]() Re: Reflections in Max

Hi Jason,
use a Raytrace map there's an attenuation rollout. I suggest to use a linear falloff attenuation. With this parameter the floor will reflect exactly how you need. Good Luck Re: Reflections in Max

Thanks.
I think I must have used a different Falloff.
