Any Maya teachers out there?
By Graphix Guy on Mar 10, 2005 08:38 PM
Just curious to know if there are any persons available for teaching MAYA?
The company I work for recently bought MAYA for me to learn how to make renderings of new products. I figured I would take to the app like I did with Photoshop and Illustrator, but I quickly found out how complicated the MAYA application is. Its like trying to fly the space shuttle! Because Im not using the animation portion of MAYA, I figure it shouldnt take too long to teach me how to make these illustrations. We are currently paying someone outside the company to create these drawing, but I would really like to create them myself eventually. Maybe we could pay to have someone come here and teach me on-site. The location is Jacksonville Florida. If interested, please email me at jfashner@dldusa.com We'd ultimately like to find someone who lives in the United States and someone who is as close to Jacksonville Florida as possible. Also, if anyone knows a school or class I can attend Im open to all info at this point. I just dont want to learn a bunch of stuff I dont need to. By vertex3d on May 09, 2006 03:47 AM
