lighting objects....ask

how can I make objects lights with volume light effect

are you talking about making an object glow, or are you talking about making a true volumetric light, where the shadows affect the density of the volumetric light effect?

actualy I want to know when I put a light and an object,can I make the object reflects the light with effect that applied on the light like volume light, lens effect..etc I hope it is clear :)
