Help me out on this... plz

Hi all,

I have created a scene with some animation. The scene includes an aircraft.

1) How can I change the aircraft's pivot point to some other place where ever I want to rotate it?

2) How can I place a bitmap for ground and sky?

Wht I need is to create a world in which I make the aircraft to fly. I dont need any animation on the surface or int he world, they can be just bitmaps. But just the scene must look like a real world scene.
