make a polygon out of 3 or more points

I just started Modeler a few days ago and am still learning the extreme basics. I have a very simple problem:
I have 4 points and I want to make a polygon out of them. What do I do?

:D Simple question - simple answer.
Select your 4 Points in clockwise or counter clockwise order, the press "p" on your keyboard or select "make Pol" from your "create -> elements menu. That´s all.

Thanks, that did help, I had tried that but did not think to select the points in a circular order.
