U should find a 3D book and follow it!

The 3d is quite tricky and holds lots of secrets. To get started, always look for tutorials for whatever program you use. At first, you will learn how to create and manipulate primitives, to render and to map. Later on you will get started on polygonal modeling. Well, never give up and good luck.
