what about books?
By 2funkey on Oct 26, 2004 12:44 AM
i work with max for 3 years so i'm not complitley a novice. i need something a bit advanced to improve my rendering.
can any one recomend a good book that holds these subjects : lighting, effects (reactor, combustion, dynamics), textures. any other subjects are fine as well, as long as the book is good. thanx By marque_pierre on Dec 25, 2004 06:29 PM
There is that Max book on lighting that you might find useful:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0240516893/qid=1103998957/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/102-4568992-3716103?v=glance&s=books As for textures, it depends on what kind of work you want to do. But for general rendering and lighting work Jeremy Birn's book is of course a classic, even though it will not be Max specific. By sarath on Jan 07, 2005 11:00 PM
