Modelling a car!!!

HI All,
Im currently trying 2 make a car for Banger Heat...a relian robint. I
have made the side of the car up to drivers door (in hight)...just wondering what view do you use 2 star making the rest of the car?. i got a pic of the car then plotted verts around and joined them up using faces. (how would i carry on making the car same way as i started?)
Any help much appreciated.
