Personally, I find the best thing for modelling cars is nurbs. Could be that I'm not great with poly modelling, but I get quick, easy and relatively good results with nurbs.

Months ago I was searching a car modelling tutorial too, and I found one wich maybe can help you. Itīs by Michael C aka, and it explains how to model an Audi TT using quad and tri patches, those forgotten tools. The url:

I think NURBS are the only way to go really with cars to get nice fowing lines...
but how do you get past this problem : use curves from side to side of car, and you end up with a hole at the front and back of the car... use curves going from front to back of car, and you get holes in the side of the car.. how do you get past this so you can add nice detail in these areas?? Hmmm, am i the only one who uses Patches ?
I think Patches work great for car-modeling ... But, as soon as i get his vertex-problem solved, i'll jump on the poly-train *ggg* Bye, XnorB Re: modelling a car...HELP

I don't know about you guys but I find NURMS to be the easist way to make a car. I understand that everyone has their own way of doing it but I think it gives you a lot of control. But I'm just a newbie.
