How to make realistic cloths with 3ds MAX R 3.1
Hey guys!
How you guys do that? I mean how you can make so realistic looking cloths to your 3D models? Do you have some kind of plugin(s) or something. If you have, where I can download that kind of plugin(s)? I'm sorry about my poor english but I have studiet english only about 7 years. Hope you can understand my text. Writing is much harder than reading. But anyway could somebody tell me something about clothing. (Mail me). I would be happy if some one could. And if there are finnish guys or someone who can speak(write) finnish I would be pleased to get some mail in finnish. Mail Me in english or in finnish, another languages are to hard to understand. By the way I have rendered about 4 years. Re: How to make realistic cloths with 3ds MAX R 3.1

yes patches are an excellent approach to modelling clothes. just start by making splines to define the clothes arround your model..then hide the model...and model the clothes using patches/ surfacetools.
once your done..just use your favorite cloth simulation plug-in
