does anyone have an idea when maya 5 is scheduled to launch officially?

This is the method that I try the movement MAYA5, I have caned use the MAYA5 now.

Press tacit approval to establish gearing MAYA5, then

Modification aw1.dat
Changes the HOSTID= xxxxxxxxxxxx 12 of net card number
Drag along the aw1.dat toward the awkeygen.exe once

1.If your machine ascends the edition that have the maya of the past, copy the original license document inside to the contents in the aw1.dat.
2.If you packed the maya5.0 only, copy the C to the aw1.dat:\ the FLEXlm is next, and change name aw_computername.dat.Noting the computername is your machine.

As for help document, install the maya50beta2_win32\ Docs\ Windows\ Windows\ installMayaDocServer.exe
If you are in a bureau area net, as long as reach 1 the pedestal machine packs the help document all right, the other machine can beat the http in browser:// install the machine of the help:4444
Because 5.0 of the help will do a webserver, port number is 4444
