Comic-Style Render?

Have you guys every seen *Futurama*?
It looks like they were using a 3d program, but all objects rendered looked just comicstyle (no detailed shadow, simple colors.)

Is there a way to do the same using max?

there are two good blugins to do so with max
first the illustrate blugin whic is very professional in this feild, also you can use the final render blugin which do the same thing beside its powerfull GI sysytem.....  ;)

also, you can use texture trick instead...

you can utilize falloff material and sidefade plugin....

MAX5 has a new Ink'n'paint material, for cartoony renders.

What a great idea!! i'ld like to know more how many people you met on 1st sept, i'm quite late to see this blog.
