as i am quite new to the Forum i have decided to add some News, www.blender3d.com They went out of business a few months back but The whole community has come together and have a fund to bring it back the software is still being used and its free, you can get it at http://www.elysiun.com  :D, and the community is still strong, This is just for all the People that cant afford Software like Maya if your a student, blender is a nice software to learn basics about 3D
