fake Global Illumination attempt (img)

I made this scene in maya the other day and I decided to put a bit more effort for the rendering. I had a look for tutorials about fake GI and I combined some of them to produce this...
![]() I take the average shadow fraction of 175 directional lights(dome) and use it as the color to the surface shader the mesh is assigned to. for 1280*1024 ans 1024Dmap Size, it took 1hour and 20' i am going to combine this with an another layer of a single directional light as the main source. what do you think? thanks Re: fake Global Illumination attempt (img)
