5 million purse for Saul Roddy White Jersey Ebay Alvarez fight breaks his own record

Floyd Mayweather kept reporters on an international teleconference waiting 20 minutes before he joined the call Wednesday, but time is money, and after another record http://www.falconsofficialproshop.com/Black+Roddy+White+Jersey boxing purse $41.5 million for next week's fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez Mayweather has much more money than time.

The Grand Rapids native will earn that base purse for his Sept. 14 fight against Alvarez at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer and Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe made the announcement on the teleconference, during which Ellerbe recited several of Mayweather's most noteworthy boxing achievements.

"This goes with the territory," Ellerbe said of Mayweather's latest windfall.

Mayweather already held the record for the largest base purse in boxing history, $32 million, which he earned for his last two fights, in 2012 fight against Miguel Cotto and in May against Robert Guerrero. It was widely expected that his base purse would be even greater for the highly anticipated Alvarez fight.

Before Mayweather's last two fights, the record base purse was Lennox Lewis' flat $30 million payday for his 2002 win over Mike Tyson.

Mayweather gets a piece of the payperview sales too, however, and his overall take from the Alvarez fight could top the alltime earnings for a single fight, the approximately $53 million which Oscar De La Hoya earned for fighting Roddy White Jersey Mayweather in 2007.
