West Bend Two Slinger men have been charged in Washington County Circuit Court with intoxicated possession of a firearm and three other crimes after a night of drinking alcohol led to a brawl and ended with one of them firing a handgun into the ceiling of a residence the morning after Christmas Day.

David L. Moldenhauer Jr., 30, and Richard J. Greene Jr., 40, each face up to 11 years and 9 months imprisonment and up to $46,000 in fines if convicted of all four crimes, which include recklessly endangering safety, a felony, as well Tyrann Mathieu Black Jersey as pointing a firearm at another person, and disorderly conduct by use of a dangerous weapon, according to a criminal complaint.

They were released from the Washington County Jail on Monday after posting $500 bail. Conditions of their release include absolute sobriety, and they cannot possess firearms pending the outcome of the charges against them.

Moldenhauer and Greene had been drinking with three other men at the Slinger House tavern until it closed early in the morning of Dec. 26, the criminal complaint says.
