Lightwave Trouble

I am following the desert tutorial at syntheticimages.com and have ran into a problem. When i attempt to use the procedural type "heteroterrain" it isnt there. I have a variety of other procedures to choose, but heteroterrain just doesnt show up. This brings me to a big halt in the tutorial. if anyone can help me, it would be very appreciated. thanks alot.

are you sure you installed all the plugins that came with lightwave?

Hey there.
All you have to do is go to Add Plugins, and make sure that all the plugins in the Newtek\Plugins\Texture folder are loaded.
If that doesn't work, your software is buggered.

wich version of lightwave you´re working with ?

the heteroterrain texture comes up with v5.6 or v6
lower versions have no heteroterrain
