Screamer Net 2 Problems

Ok I've got 2 PC's here, and for the life of me I cant get screamernet2 working for lightwave6.  Can anyone explain it better than the manual can?

Both are running WindowsXP.  Both are partitioned.  So both computers have a C and D drive.

The host computer has Lightwave installed on D.
