Titleist won the official equipment counts in four categories – golf balls, irons, wedges and putters.

Tiger Woods picked up his eighth victory at Torrey Pines, with a four-shot triumph at the Farmers Insurance Open. Woods’ accomplishment, his 75th PGA Tour victory, set a record for most wins by a player at the same facility.

His all-Nike bag: VR Tour driver, VR Pro Limited Edition 3-wood , SQ II 5-wood, VR Pro Blade irons, VR Pro wedges, Titleist California putters. He played a Nike One Tour D ball.

Looking at the 2013 models of the Pro V1 and Pro V1x, the PGA Tour trend favors the Pro V1x. At San Diego, 10 players used the new Pro V1 and 47 played the new Pro V1x. Also using the 2013 Pro V1x was Chris Wood, who eagled the par-5 18th hole to win the European Tour’s Qatar Masters.

When TaylorMade began testing the Lethal ball with Tour players last fall, it had the code name Project 5. The first to switch to the new ball were Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose.

Sean O’Hair, the first player to use TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons on Tour, changed the badge on the back of his irons, going from a camouflage badge to a standard TaylorMade badge.

Jason Day played a new TaylorMade R1 Driver (10.5 degree), and Mike Weir used a new rbz driver for sale.
