The Mizuno MP-64 irons are the latest grain flow forged irons in the Mizuno range developed with the input of Mizuno tour professionals including Luke Donald who put them straight in his bag. They are targeted at low-handicap golfers with its "player's cavity" design. That means that while these are player's clubs, the forged clubheads do have cavities for increased playability.Golfonlineaus has run discount golf clubs business in Australia about 3 years. Here you can buy australia golf online directly.

“We really built this golf club for Luke Donald,” Couch said. “This is Luke’s iron (although he has not yet switched from the discount Mizuno MP-59 Irons).” Hollow construction of irons is nothing new, but Mizuno has utilized modern techniques. From address, the irons look very much like members of the Mizuno MP family. According to Gibbons, they have the same soft feel usually associated with forged irons. The MP-64 has a sole that is beveled and softened for accurate turf contact without digging. It has a full-diamond muscle back within a shallow-back cavity.

Mizuno have created a beautiful set of irons that can be worked like a blade but have some added forgiveness. The size of the cavity decreases through the set - a "flow cavity" design - with a deeper cavity in the long irons to provide more forgiveness. They will not give you that extra yardage your looking for, if you struggle for distance, but what they do give you is superb playability, feel, consistency and feedback. In the mid- and short irons, the cavity is shallower to put more focus on control and workability.

They just feel amazing and the flight is fantastic with a tight dispersion. These can be combined with the new H4 irons as a long iron replacements if you struggle with the long irons, which give extra forgiveness and higher launch. Looking back we feel that Mizuno have combined the peripheral weighting from the MP-62 irons with the diamond back cavity of the discount Mizuno MP-63 Irons and we think this works well. With numerous regional and national fitting centers it's essential to get custom fitted to get the best out of them.

Mizuno touts the feel of the Mizuno MP-64 Irons, citing the company's "Harmonic Impact Technology" to control vibration at impact. The irons come in a double-nickel chrome finish that includes a 3D forged Mizuno Runbird logo. “I’m impressed,” said Gibbons, the former executive director of the Oregon Golf Association. “There will be golfers who want to carry these rather than hybrids.” Like all MP irons the stock shafts are steel, and many steel and graphite shaft options are available. In contrast to the MP-H4, the MP-64 is just what golfers might expect from Mizuno: forged irons created to please highly skilled golfers.
