Newly Experience of the Ping Anser Forged Irons

When it comes to the PING golf clubs, golfers would think of the investment cast, moderate offset, industrial grey Guyson finish, healthy topline and wider soles first. There has been a lot of hype about PING's latest deviation into the realm of forged clubs. One who has experienced the Ping Anser Forged Iron like me must witness its charm and enjoy its unique feeling.

These Irons are an excellent choice for a lower handicap player looking for great feel and playability with a softer feel, good feedback and good workability in a forged iron. When I first held the Ping Anser Forged Irons, I was skeptical but after playing a dozen rounds now I am very comfortable with the line and the club really does move through the turf with ease. They donít look dissimilar from the fabulous ping i20 irons for sale. These seemed to fly a little lower than my current set. These clubs are truely built with quality, you can tell the first time you hold them in your hands they are really well made.

Ping Anser Forged Irons have less bounce than is common (the 3-iron has -3 degree of bounce while The Anser 7-iron has 5 degree, the Callaway RAZR X Irons best price 6 degree) which means you can nip the ball of fairly tight lies and out of bad lies easier than you probably can with your present set. The four cavities, toe cavity, heel cavity, CTP (custom tuning port) cavity and the hallow-sole cavity, are milled into the back of the iron, which guarantees the Anser irons are built to very high tolerances, creating the same exact geometry in each club.

The milling is evident by the milling marks in the toe and heel cavities and are there to create forgiveness and improve MOI. This makes it easier to hit the golf clubs for sale higher and straighter. What satisfied me most is there is no loss of forgiveness with the Anser. Ping Anser Forged Irons are still largely considered the tools of the scratch golfer who worries less about how an off-center hit is going to behave than he does about how all his on-center hits are going to feel. But as you'd expect from a Ping club, bad contact is not heavily punished.

A progressive set design offers forgiveness in the long irons and greater control in the short irons. As you move through the set to the shorter irons, the stabilizing bars thicken and become more vertical, raising the CG location to help achieve higher spin, more control and a more penetrating ball flight. Ping Anser Forged Irons are still largely considered the tools of the scratch golfer who worries less about how an off-center hit is going to behave than he does about how all his on-center hits are going to feel. But as you'd expect from a Ping club, bad contact is not heavily punished.
