ink shader?

does anyone know a trick to create an ink shader in 3ds mayx 5?

ink shader? not sure what you mean? do you mean like a toon shader kind of effect?

I mean  a material/texture setting that look like drawn
with ink or pencil...it should look like an animated pencil scribble
