I love this - it may sound odd, but it really speaks to me - I feel like the guy on top of the umbrella is getting the brunt of whatever it is that's causing the creatures to turn black and white, while the other characters remain ignorant (even of the fact that certain parts of their own bodies are also transforming). It's as if the guy on the umbrella is absorbing all of the worst parts of this mysterious thing while the others don't even notice what's going on.

Anyway, this might have absolutely nothing to do with your actual intentions, but I thought I'd share. I obviously identify with the guy on top of the umbrella, at least when it comes to my own interpretation of the piece. Thanks for making it!
