This is a wonderful atmospheric image .. love the lighting, I dont think it disturbs to have this many lights .. wonderful idea modelling and texturing. All in all an excellent image!!

I have to disagree a little with some of the previous comments. I really like it. The background fits perfectly. A more defined background would just detract from the rest the image, which by the way, happens to be a damn good example of good use of the rule of thirds.

Lighting looks spot on for the situation. Nice colour choice. If I could find any criticism, my choice would have been to give the alien a bit more of a workmans slouch. That said, maybe that wasn't the look you were going for eh?

you know if you look at it close it's pretty cool, but if you look at it from a bit of a distance i think it looks slightly cooler because of the sweet lighting. Yeah really, sweet lighting. Oh, And sweet alienbot.

The background looks really photoshopped from pictures, but the foreground characters are very cute.
