Actually it looks like he is using the 2D art feature Lightwave is capable of. I'd say good job nice cartoony feel. Keep up the good work!

Work more on making the robot more detailed than the factory...make the factory have the details in the textures, and the robot have modeled details. This will bring out better lighting effects for the robot. Also, put the lights closer to the robot, so there'll be more contrast between itself, making your better works highlighted, and your less-concentrated stuff in the dark, requiring less attention. You don't have to get rid of the tube...just desaturate it a little, and place it in a darkened area. Practice different lighting effects...like having the scaffolds have lights behind them, casting dynamic shadows on the ground. This might not be "realistic" but it looks better. Nice job on the factory, but work more on the robot. :)good job:)

Although this is a very cool picture, it is a bit to busy and I can't really tell what is going on. But other than that, NICE!

Your picture here is decent, it needs more curvature. you should render it at a higher resolution also. try and work on making more life like people to work on this, rather poor lighting effects IMHO. some of the scaffolding leads nowhere as it seems, needs to be darker in same areas, and make the "factory" a bigger area. The hose needs to be fixed though, like change color or something, it stands out more than the actual "bot" being built/repaired. It's a pretty damn good job.

Your picture is a bit blocky, and the red rope is a bit much I think (maybe less contrast). otherwise preety good. Keep up the good work.
