Well... everything fine but this doesn't look like North Italy in my opinion. This implies a question about author's skills. Anyway not such a bad render or whatever it is.
Wonderfull picture, I'd like to be there with my girlfriend... Congratulations!
Is this a futurescape where North Italy gets hit by an nuclear bomb? I must say that you have done a good job in showing just how terrible the landscape would be after such a catastrophe.
ok to z i am not sure quite what your trying to say except that you are cap-happy. First have you ever heard of postwork?.............yeah its called photoshop and it works...................and you can do that in terragen except for the ship like i said could be postwork. Second why does it matter what tools you are using................anyone can learn to use a tool............its how you express your emotion with that tool that counts. This is an awesome image even if terragen is not as complicated as some other tools out there........everyone starts somewhere.
@ Z and Invictus :: Hey guys. What's your point? I just can't get it: why attacking him about the software he uses? There is no need to do something like that. What counts is that this is a really good work and I believe you two suck. The point is that "Your critique" is ment as review!! It should be constructive so he can do better next time and nothing else.
Lass Dich nich unter buttern alter. Das is ne ordentliche Arbeit.
I believe that that green stuff on the sand looks somewhat unrealistic. At one point it nearly reaches the water, but that would be impossible if it were algae or muck it would get washed away. By the way: the rock in background looks like the eroded lava rocks on hawaii and that would really not match the bright sand.
But overall it's a great work!
The waters edge looks like it's been just cut off, and the cliffs in the background look too sharp and alltogether unreal.
I believe you created part of this in terragen with a wealth of plugins, if you harnessed the program a bit better I think you could achieve a better image.
Plus drop the camera a little and raise the pitch to include the whole cliff top, and maybe add a few shells and rocks considering you've added everything else.
Damn what the rest of them said atleast you tried.
