I admire your work, for it's the general direction where my own aims are directed. Especially your city-scapes. I have much work to do to get to that level.

As for the other discussion going: if u want to start a flame war on nudity, pleaze head over to renderosity.com and feast your eyes on the tacky (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tacky) works displayed there.
If you do want to focus your attention on shotgunning nudity or 'improper' CG display, then maybe start with Poser 3D? Most results delivered by Poser are sleazy (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=sleazy) trials at art. Not only the 'modeling' but also the texturing, and poses themselves refer to the art of selling that you have brought up. None of those users would even know where to begin to model a human body from zero up. Maybe take your crusade there?
The works shown here are decent work, depicting plays of light, shadow and texture, not mentioning a very nice job at form and structure.

i don't think there's much point in being photo-realistic. at least not unless you are able to inject something "extra" into the piece, and i think you're quite good at that. some more than others but atmosphere is definitely there.

Fireflies, just because YOU only have one reaction to nudity doesn't mean that other people can't appreciate the beauty of a piece. All of your comments seem to reflect that you fear the human body, or that you are obsessed with sex (maybe both). Not all people have these issues, though, so keep your comments to yourself. No one is going to change their choice of subject based on your personal problems.

For a man with your skill, you don't have to put nude woman in your art. I know people always saying the old 'it's not porn, it's art, just look at that' reason. But still, nudity at the end just to make people horny, so the artist can sell their work fast. Yes, nudity is an art, art of selling.
