Extremely detailed and coloured in a fantastic manner, but art needs to be brought to life throughout the artists work, you're brilliant at CG - however, your portrait of Nosferatu looks more like a porcelain, inanimate doll - Nosferatu himself was a stalker of the night, a fiendish demon built for preying upon mortal souls. His position and the way he looks stone cold, just doesn't give it that certain, dynamic flare that you'd expect from such a being. The background is beautifully crafted, but the light proportions are a little too extreme - upon creating this image did you forget that Nosferatu was a vampire? Call me old fasioned, but weren't sun light the achille's heel of these beings?
Over all, I love your work and admire your use of skill, and not to mention the patience involved to render such a detailed image. I'll be checking in some time to catch some more of your work - keep up the great designs Luis Miguel :)
thats for yours commentaries.
the concept of nosferatu is the brom , the same one already has seen it.
imagenes in that I am making now is own, and I hope to have them soon.
not if in this pagina it name that the image is a version of brom, not if in this web it name that the image is a version of brom.
the image is a small tribute to its excellent work.
(sorry for my english)
Great Modeling, textuing and lighting.... :) Hands down to you man.
I would like though to see something more original from you. You show that you have a great talent for CG, but you shouldn't use other peoples ideas.
I say this, because the design of "Nosferatu" is ripped off an old painting from "Gerald Brom". The only thing different actually is the backround.
So why don't you use your skill with graphics to make something original. You might say that this is 3D instead of illustration, but that does not give you the right to reproduce someone's idea in a different way. Because in the end, this lowers you as an artist.
I say this out of my heart, because I really believe that you have this talent, that you must let it out and create something unique. Again, congratulations for your image, but in the future, I would like to see more from, Luis Miquel, "The Artist". :)
Keep up the great work.
