As Americans, we are the most powerful people in the world, and do not have to put up with such bullshit. I know this sounds arrogant, but don't Americans have the right? 68% of the world's supply of wheat comes from the U.S. Neither Canada not Mexico have their own Navy or Air Force, because the U.S. protects them. America is the world's leading nation, with the highest per capita income per person, with the highest standards of living, and, as shown by this site, probably some of the best morals. We do indeed send out billions of dollars to other countries, simply to help them. Most amusing, the other countries take our money, and then spit in our face. Why? Jealousy. They need our money, and we are so well off we can afford to help them. And they can't stand the idea of one of the world's youngest countries is its most potent superpower. So let the little ones whine and complain about America. Most are simply nerds in their mother's basement somewhere, desperately seeking some attention. Please do not honor them so much. I know it rankles to simply ignore them, but please do. America can stand to bear their insults, even though we don't deserve it. They only prove the point they are trying to defeat.

i'm not jesus and i don't even try to be self righteous. to be honest, at first i didn't even remember about beslan because when i heard about it, to me it was just another news story. but i know i would have cried if i was there.

but i decided to take a deeper look at this picture and somehow what came through to me was that the cycle of hate won't stop (because that child is taking up the gun isn't he? not just moving it out of the way? am i seeing this wrong?)

btw, someone was talking about how not everything is black and white and that's true. because america isn't pure but isn't completely evil either. and capitalism and communism are both ideals but neither have been exercised perfectly yet, but in both cases there have been happy people and disgruntled people.
