That's an excellent work! Very imaginative!

i think this has a great feel, because of the composition, with the ballon below the house within the frame, it makes it seem like the ballon is trying to get away, or is being swept away by the wind. If that is what you intended, then it is an excellent piece of sublety, however, if you wanted to this to feel very tranquil, i suggest you tilt the frame, so that the ballon is even, or higher than the house, this would get rid of the "downward" slope to the composition, and thus remove the escaping balloon feeling,

Nice relaxed coloring in a mix of cartoon and realism, which however is difficult to genre place - it certainly functions the best as a cartoon, since the grass and object proportions isn't ligelike. Nice focus with the gulls but the color selection is the strong point.
