With "Angel Whore," I think your composition contrasting could be a bit more clear--it's a good piece, but it's difficult for the eye to actually discern where in the composition the viewer should be directed (I presume the figure in the center of the piece). Background is important, but it shouldn't overshadow, so to speak, the main subject of the image.
