No-one get's the point.
Using PovRay at the time these were created with the machines that could be afforded by a normal person is the point.
Ggetting anything to look remotely real using Peristance of Visiion theory is something that would appear to be well beyond the narrow minded twits who judge without understanding. Back to your windows machines and don't worry about the significant difference when you create every pixel and don't rely on a pregramme created by someone else.

The art is your ability to master the program . In rest is plain photography man. It's ...too real.Art does not copy reality, we have photo cameras for that. Try to add something unexpected in your art.

first off ALL ART IS A COPY OF REALITY in one way or anther...

but you scenes need Alot more work they dont even feel a bit real they are to Plan To Clean And and you need to pick better Cameras

Hey Just Shut Up, how about you just shutup! It's a matter of art, and what people like. People are allowed to have an opinion, which doesn't mean everyone needs to applaud something which doesn't even compare to what we call talent.
Yeah I know what Povray is so don't underestimate people's abilities just 'cos they don't like what they see. Grow up and stop annoying us just because you don't agree with us.

This site is older than some of the kids posting stupid comments here.
Watch carefully this was made with Povray, u even know what povray is?
Also take a look at the hardware, this was probably made almost 10 years ago.
It's very good, considering.

IS THIS A JOKE?! If it is, it ain't funny. The Sims has better graphics. Maybe you should actually learn to use your programs before you post it up with the big shots because you're not even half way there.

for a pvoray rendering... the quality aint bad... personally i think yafray woulda done a more realistic job if thats what you were aiming for. i agree with lots of the other people that the work probably can't be considered the best of someones potential. but i mean... everyones gotta start somewhere.

but my major comment is... WHATS WITH THE AUSTRAILIANS AND THEIR FKING SLOW COMPUTERS?!?! ... im surprised you ppl have the time to let ur computers render these things for 8 days straight.

hey Gianlu, sober up man. that much drink is not good for u!! You havent been snorting the white stuff again too, have you?

The anonymous poster is dead right. Get over yourself and live with it!!! Blaming the "artist's" machine is pretty lame, no, it's just stupid. This is a 3D art site, so who gives a shit about the computer used to create the art if it is worth looking at. THIS IS NOT ART, IT IS CRAP.
