Yo man, I really like that for some odd reason. I mean I know its not the shit, but the point of the art is to express something, and that definitely expresses Sinister emotions and a dark evil. F#$K the guy who said it sucks, he was 11 years old. Good work man, keep it up!!!
Edward Lee Yeah..I agree that it need to be more contrast...don't know but the original image was more contrasty and dynamic..This one looks little washed out. Ed-- Ryan Reminds me of the robots in Miyazki's "Laputa: Castle in the sky". In other words I love it. The combination of organic and machine-like feel, with a posture that suggests emotion works for me. Good job. Emeth.NL your modelings great but the lack of color and light contratsts make this image alot less interesting, maybe something to work on, but keep up he good work, nice Tony I like this image a lot but the backround looks to much like SG1's portal. Besides that good work. Michael McBride Lee's artwork is outstanding, with nods to both Giger and Dali, and yet, stikingly unique. Not to be overlooked is his excellent use of darkness. Where most 3D artists overlight their scenes for clarity, Lee is not afraid to leave much to the imagination by purposely blackening out key elements. Very bold! anonymous Thats preety good. I like the immagination. Some of the colours maybe should be brightened for more contrast thoug. Looking foreward to seeing more :)
I only wish raph included 2d art in the gallery, then everyone could see how truly versatile Ed Lee really is. Ed is a very gifted artist in just about every media he touches, and he deserves praise for his talent and vision.
Personally, I like the darkness of your piece, it adds a more sinister or mysterious mood to it, and overall, what an interesting piece!!!
