I absolutely love it.What I see is that it can be envisioned many different ways.there are distinct delicate and powerful areas.It is like the bridge in a mind.....to me today it is warm and pretty but tomorrow may seem like I want to scurry away.To capture attention is done with a subtle elegance.!!

I disagree with all of you! What this picture reminds every on of, is a childhood dream or nightmare. On of those strange ones with no noise, just peace and quite. It's a place of rest, and a stress free life, think about it! Mitchell age 13

the tree to the left of the bridge has a bit of a ghostly image to it too...like a warped face in the tree...unintentional i think but it is still there ......that is more eerie than below the bridge

Knowing that the "Dark Place" is there . . . just waiting to spook me . . . makes me want to RUN across the bridge as fast as I can so that nothing can reach out and grab at my feet. I love the lush, green coloring to this picture ~ kind of offsets the darkness that is begging to be seen !?!

I think that it would have been better if you had seen two red glowing eyes under the bridge..but thats only my opinoin!=)

Yes, correct. The Dark Place is under the bridge. I tried showing a glimpse of something hiding under there, but it never worked right. It is inspired by a bridge in the story "Faerie Tale" by Raymond Feist. A bridge in an otherwise beautiful wood with something unpleasant living beneath.

I'm glad to see that the impression I intended comes across. This is an old picture. I have not done much recently, but I am glad to read your comments.
