I agree with the outlawed, instead of showing your superior intelligence to others in these things, I suggest you take a look at yourself and think if you could have done the same. Besides, if no one noticed, this one was made with P90, and 3DS 4 (not Max) so this indeed is old. But pretty well done except for the flat appearance, perspective is odd. I wonder if this artist has done anything else lately?

Nice for a first try. Things that are good : Color scheme seems to be ...fine.
Things that are bad : The entire render looks very flat. There is no depth within the art work. You could model the arch way around the windows and some of the brick detail to make the walls not feel so flat and give the room a bit more life. Also, the time periaod is not certain, even if it is fantasy. The lighting would have been more dramatic if there were less light sources. Maybe the light from the sun would have been all you needed. As well, if you had some sort of objects in the foreground to also give the room more depth would make the work more interesting to look at. The floating light fixture is not very good at all. I don't believe this is suppoesed to be a fantasy world. You need more to describe to the viewer what you are trying to achive. Other then then that, its not that bad. I'd like to see yomama or quantum try to make something like this. I'm sure they dont even know how to make a cube in Max! I give this a 3.5/10

Personally, I think the work is awesome. I can't do this, and I'm a graphic artist. I design graphics for websites, and I couldn't ever do 3D stuff.

And one more thing. I want to see YOUR work, Nicole, if you honestly think you have every right to critique their art, then I want to see proof that you've graduated from a digital art class, and have better art than theirs. THEN maybe, possibly, you can be rude and harsh to people and tell them not to post it on sites. Either way, they'll still post it whether you like it or not. Just don't look at it. :)
